CLA, or Conjugated Linoleic Acid, is a naturally occurring fatty acid closely linked to omega-6. CLA has been shown in studies to assist in glucose metabolism and enhancement/retention of lean body mass (muscle).

Although CLA plays an important role in a number of cellular metabolic processes, humans are not able to produce CLA and therefore can only obtain it from the diet. CLA is naturally found in dairy and meat products however amounts are typically low and in order to support body composition goals supplementation is required.
